The apartment, located at Kinkerstraat 51 A1, is a cosy studio apartment in a vibrant neighbourhood just outside of the canal-belt in the centre of Amsterdam. The Kinkernook is located on the first floor and access to the building is on the right hand side of Chez Rosie.
Transport to the Apartment
Amsterdam has a great public transportation system making the apartment very easy to get to either from the Amsterdam Centraal station or from Schiphol airport.
Amsterdam Centraal
Tram 17 or 13 from Amsterdam Centraal will drop you directly in front of the apartment at the tram stop Bilderdijkstraat and is about a 10 – 15 minute ride.
Schiphol Airport
From Schiphol trains run frequently to Amsterdam Centraal to take tram 17 or 13. The 397 bus runs to and from the airport every 8 minutes and is roughly 45 minutes each way. There are multiple other modes of transportation to the apartment also.
Apartment Rules
While staying in the apartment, we kindly ask you to follow these house rules to ensure a comfortable and pleasant experience for everyone.
Smoking:
For the comfort of all guests, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment. If you wish to smoke, please do so at street level outside. Kindly refrain from smoking out of the windows.
Shoes:
To maintain cleanliness and comfort, please remove your shoes at the entrance and avoid walking around the apartment with shoes on. Feel free to use the slippers provided or bring your own.
Guests:
The apartment has a maximum occupancy of 2 people. If you plan to invite additional guests during your stay, please inform us in advance.
Noise & Respect:
Amsterdam is a vibrant city, but we ask that you respect our neighbours by keeping noise levels low, particularly during the quiet hours between 11 PM and 7 AM. Let’s ensure a peaceful environment for all.
Heating:
We encourage responsible use of heating to avoid excessive energy consumption. Unreasonably high power usage may result in additional costs being charged to the guest. Please adjust the thermostat responsibly and turn it off when not needed.

To make sure everything goes smoothly during your time here, we’ve put together a few key details about expectations. Please take a moment to read through the following points, which will help ensure both your comfort and the upkeep of the property.
The thermostat twists left and right to adjust the temperature. Since the apartment is small it heats up very quickly so 20° usually works when it’s chilly and there is a red blanket by the door to blocks drafts coming from under the door.
Responsibilities During Your Stay
We ask that you treat the apartment as you would your own home. Please keep the space tidy and avoid any damage to the property. Should any issues arise, such as breakages or accidents, kindly inform us as soon as possible so we can take care of them promptly.
At the end of your stay, we kindly request that you leave the apartment in good condition, similar to how you found it. While cleaning services are included before check-in, we do appreciate any light cleaning, such as washing dishes or removing trash, before check-out – bins are located under a minute around the corner.
Access to the Apartment
We trust you will have a peaceful and private stay. However, in the unlikely event that maintenance or repairs are needed during your time here, we may need to access the apartment. We’ll always notify you in advance, and we will do our best to minimize any disruption.
Liability and Insurance
While we take great care to ensure the apartment is safe and comfortable, we are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or lost/stolen items during your stay. For your peace of mind, we recommend considering travel or renters insurance to cover any unexpected circumstances.
